Medics

Any interested Basic Cadet may apply to join the Corps Medics through a localized screening procedure managed by the department:

1. Preliminary Enlistment: Log an initial application through the ROTC Corps Office during the prescribed application period.

2. Technical & Fitness Screening: Undergo technical evaluation administered by the assigned ROTC Medical Officer or training staff to assess basic physical aptitude, neurological stability under stress, and emergency service willingness.

3. Final Approval: Admission becomes permanent upon the official recommendation of the Cadet Corps Commander and formal signed approval from the NSTP-ROTC Coordinator.

To ensure institutional safety and uniform standards of clinical execution across campus, candidates must complete rigorous certification before field deployment:

• Training Certification: Complete specialized training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and emergency trauma management.

• Operational Validation: Practical field response duties require passing field evaluations organized by the ROTC training staff.

Serving as a Corps Medic requires high dedication, which is recognized through specialized unit benefits:

• Advanced Medical Training: Free specialized, advanced medical training programs.

• Priority Supply Access: Priority access to medical gear and essential supplies.

• Operating Expenses: Allotted revolving funds disbursed through the NSTP-ROTC Office covering subsistence, hydration, and field expenses on duty days.
